BenefitBuddy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our iOS application.

BenefitBuddy collects minimal information to provide you with the best experience:

Local Data

All your credit card information, benefits, and usage tracking data are stored locally on your device using Realm database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to use our backup features.

iCloud Backup (Optional)

If you enable iCloud backup, your card and benefit data will be encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app and improve our services. This includes:

• App launch and session duration
• Feature usage patterns
• Device type and iOS version
• Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)

Advertising Data

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your iOS settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Local Storage

All your sensitive card and benefit data is stored locally on your device using Realm, an encrypted mobile database.

No Server Storage

We do not store your personal data on our servers. Your information remains on your device and your personal iCloud account.

Credit Card Safety

BenefitBuddy is designed to track credit card benefits, not store payment information. We do not collect, store, or transmit credit card numbers, CVV codes, or any payment credentials.

Third-Party Services

BenefitBuddy uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Analytics and crash reporting
• Google AdMob: Advertisement serving
